Beth Neu, LPCC
Therapist, Owner
Hi, my name is Beth.
As a lifelong learner, I have master’s degrees in Human Resources and in Counseling & Psychological Services, both from Saint Mary’s University in the Twin Cities. I’m an EMDR and brain spotting practitioner. I’m also trained in Anchored Relational Therapy, a therapeutic approach to treating significant trauma. I use the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, CliftonStrengths and the Strong Interest Inventory for career counseling.
In my personal time, I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my grandchildren! I have a naughty Australian Shepherd named Westie who I enjoy taking for long walks. Reading, gardening, puttering and travel take up the rest of my time. I'm a native New Yorker, so I enjoy trips "home" to the Adirondack Mountains.
I’m dedicated to supporting people—all kinds of people! I work with children, starting from the age of 9, through end-of-life transitions. I support individuals, families, and couples. My training has been focused on bringing resources to individuals who have experienced complex trauma. As an adult adoptee who has experience with reunification, I understand personally the journey of the “adopted self”. I’m also a late diagnosed ADHD-er and am passionate about advocating for those of us who identify as neurodivergent. That’s a big word that means our brains are wired differently and this can impact our lives in little and big ways.
With over 30 years experience in human resources and management in a variety of organizational settings, I know how challenging the workplace can be to thrive in at times. This field is a third career for me and I also love helping people find their “new future” because it’s possible!
Philosophy of Practice
Constellations Psychotherapy & Coaching believes that all human beings deserve a safe space to be heard, supported and cared for. Sometimes it can be hard to find that place, and Constellations offers support that embraces your story and helps you build on the resilience you already have. I use a holistic approach that blends neuroscience, body-based approaches, mindfulness and a wide variety of modalities to help you develop a deeper relationship with yourself and others.
